Eyeglass power: This is the power of the lens that needs to be put in the eyeglasses from an optical shop. There is not a simple translation between that number and things like 20/20 or worse vision. But -1.50 is not a significant power and at your age of 35, it will be of benefit when you enter the age over 40 where near vision needs become universal.
