Ovarian ligament: The ovaries are supported by 3 ligaments, one on top and on inner aspect leading to uterus and on the bottom. These are affected during menstruations which can place pressure on the muscles they are underneath or attached to. Not necessarily unusual, but if keeps persisting I suggest seeing Gyn for pelvic exam and potential ultrasound
