Fairly normal.: Remember that just prior to your period your uterus becomes swollen and engorged with blood. Like any muscle or other organ, when swollen it can become achy or painful. It didn't state whether this was new or not. If new, one would suspect that you are having some hormonal changes . If things worsen follow up with your physician. Make sure you get regularly scheduled pap smears per protocol.
