is calamine lotion good for eczema? if so, should i apply other moisturisers before/after/not-at-all?

Not really.: Best treatment for eczema would be avoidance of ALL irritants, regular moisturizing with a bland agent and application of topical steroids (strength dependent upon location and severity of rash) as needed.
