No : It's not normal , it maybe a rash related to any new medications that's she might have started or allergy related among other reasons for abdominal rash ... Please refer to his author nor his PCP

No: This is likely an allergic rash from the surgery. An iodine compound (butadiene) is spread on the abdomen (called a prep) to kill bacteria on the skin and reduce the risk of infection. Your husband is probably allergic to iodine, check with a doctor to be sure. May prescribe something like hydrocortisone cream for the allergy. Note this and tell doctors in the future so it doesn't happen again.
