Tonsillectomy heals: It is very common for the breath to smell foul while recovering after tonsillectomy. The odor should resolve once the throat has healed. Discuss it with your surgeon if symptoms are excessive, prolonged or concerning.

Healing: Normal for that odor during the healing after tonsillectomy ,it should go away within 2 weeks,if persists consult his treating doctor.
