Appendicitis: You really need to see a surgeon, and NOW. Appendicitis should be dealt with by detailed physical exam, labs and imaging studies. Acute appendicitis is typically managed by surgery. Uncomplicated cases can be treated with antibiotics, but 20% of people had a recurrence within a year and required eventual surgery. Would strongly advise seeing a doctor ASAP.
