. Iron deficiency: I assume you are newly anemic, and this is not congenital. Low MCV, and high RDW are seen in iron def, but the normal ferritin complicates things. Anemia of chronic disorders also looks like this, but with high ferritin (and low TIBC). Normal ferritin is suspicious for a mix of iron def. and chronic disorders anemia. These findings are never normal and need further evaluation.
