Eye removal surgery: Removal of an eye is for extreme trauma, advanced disease with pain and loss of all vision, or suspicion of tumor. Surgery is done while asleep, and post-op the patched eye heals within a month with little discomfort. When healed you will be fitted with an artificial eye to match the normal.
