Mucus & more...: Mucus occurs in up to 50% of patients with irritable bowel syndrome, with or without pain. Mucus may also be produced due to partial obstruction, chronic constipation/stool impaction, rectal dysfunction, infection, & even from secretory villous rectal tumors. No bleeding, weight loss, fever, tenderness...Right? Call your doc to get checked.
