Tampons are safe: Tampons are very safe when used correctly and often more convenient than pads. When learning how to insert a tampon, read through the guide that comes in the box. It is very helpful to put a hand mirror on the floor and stand over it, so you can actually see what you are doing. It is okay to wear tampons at night. Never leave a tampon in for more than eight hours without changing to a new one.
