Yes: Adult genu valgus( 'knock- knees') especially associated w/ arthritis( more common in older adults) tends to progress more rapidly then genu varus( 'bowlegs')deformity and in older adults can lead to the knee(s) feeling 'unsteady'or 'wobbly'.Knee replacement is often advised for pain relief and 'straightening' the knee.Progression of deformity is due to biomechanics and 'looser' ligaments .
