Does low potassium during pregnancy cause edema? i'm 34w2d and my feet are getting stolen but they don't hurt.right foot is moderately more swollen.

Edema: Lower extremity edema ( pedal edema) is very common in pregnancy especially during the final weeks. It is due to the pressure of the gravid uterus on the pelvic blood vessels. Elevate your feet as much as possible, limit salt intake and drink at least 64 ounces of water daily.
Also,make sure your blood pressure is normal.
