Speech delay: There are several aspects to speech delay. The first is vocabulary, how many words she has, and how she puts them together. Also, pronunciation; how clear and understandable she is. 3.3 is 3y and 3m. Her speech is that of a child of that age. Make sure that she is evaluated for this, by a speech therapist and/or a developmental specialist. They will help to get her into a program to help.

Language is the : verbalization of ideas; speech is the motor aspect of language, or articulation. Ask her school for a Multidisciplinary Team Evaluation for an Individualized Educational Plan. Reading will be hard for her. Because her attention problem can be either from her Specific Language Impairment or from co-existing ADHD, her doctor may refer her to a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician for evaluation
