So far, so good: The decades that good research might have been done to answer your questions are gone - time was lost - but now it will begin to be carefully studied. What we know so far looks very good and very safe. Alternative methods to smoking are available for it in places where it is legal. It is NOT the same as recreational pot. If you're lucky to be in a place id OK - talk w/ your provider. Best!
