Side effects: Irritability and aggressivity are known side effects of this medication....why does it happen? Nobody knows the exact mechanism other than to say that the drug may cause imbalance in neurotransmitters in the brain and this could be related to the range of psychiatric (and non-psychiatric) manifestations of the drug that we describe as side effects.
