No: but idiosyncratic reactions, those peculiar to one individual's physiology, may always occur. My best guess is that the dose is not enough to replace whatever opioids you were using, and that the rapid pulse is a sign of withdrawal. Are you still having other symptoms - stomach cramps, sweating, gooseflesh, muscle/joint pains etc? Talk to the prescribing physician about your symptoms.
