How is cancer of the eyelid treated?

Read below: This depends on the type of cancer. Most cancers are surgically removed from the eyelids quite well if they are caught early enough. However, delay in getting removal or more rare types of cancer can require extensive surgery, radiation and or chemotherapy.

Eyelid cancer: There are many kinds of skin cancer that can effect the eyelid but basal cell carcinoma accounts for 90%. Regardless of the kind of cancer, surgical treatment is always the first choice in achieving a cure.
