Yes, legally ..: Physically and legally, age 18 is considered the turning year of marching into adulthood. So, before that age, to conform social and legal aspect of life, working closely with parents and doc is highly recommended. However, when a minor uses their parents insurance to access any of these services parental notification will eventually occur as insurance EOB documents reach them.
