It may worsen it: There is some evidence that heavy Cocaine use may cause a transient overactivity of the thyroid, whereas stopping it can do the opposite and lower thyroid function. Neither of these conditions are usually dramatic or very significant, but if an individual already had thyroid problems, it could complicate things. You list Cocaine under your meds - IT ISN'T. Get help with your drug problem asap.
