A member asked:

I have just been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and my period cycle is on day 50, i have always been regular 29-32 days. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid vs : If you are this late, consider pregnancy first. You should also have your thyroid function blood work done to make sure your thyroid hormone replacement is adequate. Otherwise, missing a period can happen to any female caused by other things like stress, illness, acute weight change, etc. Please discuss with your doctor.
