27 day cycle: A 27 day cycle is in the normal range. Normal cycles come every 21-35 days. Slight variation from month to month is expected.

Irregular Period: That cycle is within a normal range for periods. Since it was atypical and you are trying to get pregnant, it could be early pregnancy related, A blood pregnancy test real soon could confirm.
