Probably OK: First menstrual period after giving birth can be atypical including passing clot or clots. Discuss with your OB doctor if this continues because of remote chance of some retained placental tissue.

Sometimes: The first cycle after a baby can be heavy. If it has only be a couple of weeks since you delivered would recommend you contact your doc. Heavy flow for a day or two can be normal but if persists would discuss with your doc.
