I smoked marijuana up until 23 weeks pregnant. can my baby test positive for thc if i no longer am smoking?

Test isn't the prob: You and your baby share everything. THC is passed across the placenta to the fetus. It is good that you have stopped. You should also not drink, smoke cigarets or use other drugs during pregnancy due to risk to the fetus. Please get prenatal care if you have not already.

Probably not...but..: Unless you are on a CFS/CPS watch list or have an open file for drug use, etc. they would not look. If you are and were a regular user, I might find it with the highly sensitive tests I can use. Stay off drugs and it may never come up, use it again & it will be easier to find. In my state a positive test has predictable results. The kid goes to foster care & you face child endangerment charges.
