Minimal: Side effects are minimal and usually temporary (the first 4 wks of use) . Some people report symptoms similar to those that have had LASIK - starburst/ghosting of images, mostly noticed at night. These are temporary. Otherwise side effects/risks are similar to wearing hard contact lenses. Not everyone is a good candidate for this - be sure to ask your ophthalmologist if this is right for you!
