Not likely : While hot and spicy foods may make you sweat and feel hot you would not expect your temperature to change like that. Typically a fever implies some type of infection or response to an infectious agent. Although there are a few other scenarios that can cause fever they are rare. Some responses are quick and last less than 24 hours and at times the temp may spike a certain time of day only.

One step further: I'd like to make Dr. Rankin's response just a bit more definitive by saying DEFINITELY NOT would core body temperature be elevated even by 0.01 degrees on the basis of eating spicey foods. Core temperature is determined by metabolic rate which is controlled on the basis of what the thyroid gland does.Body temperatures cannot manipulated by eating any type of foodstuff.
