Time: Bell's palsy can be a frustrating problem to have. The facial nerve (cranial nerve #7) is very sensitive and can be injured easily. Anti-inflammatory medication and time is the usual treatment. If it does not improve , then an MRI of the brain should be obtained to rule out any structural cause for the facial nerve dysfunction.
