Is there a chance that pyruvic acid can treat a uti?

Probably not: It is not an antibiotic. Is used for treatment of acne to help skin peel & believe is being studied for its use intreatment of cancer. But do not know of any reports in its' use for utis. We know that antibiotics almost always work so why consider something like pyruvic acid?
