Sugar in diet: processed sugar, found in candy, sweets and processed foods (soda) can elevate your triglycerides. Try to avoid hidden fats such as luncheon meats, hot dogs and fatty food snacks such as chips. Eat low saturated fat-less meat and less fried foods since they can elevate triglyceride levels.
