No: Gabapentin (Neurontin) is an anticonvulsant and analgesic drug. It was originally developed to treat epilepsy, and is currently also used to relieve neuropathic pain. It has been used "off-label" for many other conditions. Alcohol and gabapentin are dangerous when mixed together for a variety of reasons.
