See a travel doctor: It is a good idea whenever one is traveling overseas to see a doctor who specializes in travel medicine at least a month prior. They can advise you on any vaccinations which may be necessary, what possible infections you need to be leery of, and which medicines to take with you as preventatives. There is also a travel page on CDC.gov, which can be useful. Enjoy your trip! Be safe.
