I have a sore throat and have had it for about a week now. i suffer from acid in the stomach, could it be the cause and should i start to take medication again?

Treat the acid !: A sore throat can be caused by many causes viral, strept or other bacterial infections but certainly gastro esophageal reflux can be a cause and is easy to try to see if improves with medications that you had from before or some over the counter, also watch your diet and elevate the head of the bed. If you have other symptoms like a fever, cough or no response to treatment check it up,
