You did not give enough information like the name of the medication you took two tablets of. How are you doing? It is not okay to do what you did without asking your medical personnel first, it is like closing the gate after the horse is gone. It may not be too much, but without knowing the name of the medication, I doubt anybody can truly reassure you.

Assuming you are talking about your birth control pill, missing a pill can certainly trigger some spotting and cramping, and you were correct to take the 2 tablets to catch up. Try to establish a regular time to take your pills, for instance when you first get up or when you brush your teeth, so this is less likely to happen again.
