One of many: Benign liver tumors are very common & usually non-symptomatic. Various types of liver cells can undergo benign proliferation. Hepatic cysts, benign hepatocellular adenoma, vascular malformations (hemangioma) or focal nodular hyperplasia +Lipomas or angiomylipomas. Very unlikely due to malignant metastasis. Occasional, less that 5% of adenomas can become malignant. Can be followed by ultrasound.
