The opposite: Reticulocytosis by definition means increase number of red cells, most of the time because of anemia. Bleeding ulcer can cause anemia, then your retic count will be higher than normal. You should be treated for the ulcer to stop the bleeding. Contact your doctor immediately so you can be treated right away.
