None: Silent stroke is difficult to explain as it does not refer to a specific medical diagnosis. Some people have very small strokes later in life causing little to no symptoms thus some people may refer to them as "silent". These are usually not discovered until a brain MRI is done for a different reason or the person has a larger stroke that causes symptoms.
