A member asked:

Could a stroke drive a person insane or is he mostly be suffering another stroke..?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depression: Stroke patients often suffer from depression, especially if they have severe disabilities that greatly limit their function. There are certain areas in the brain that, if damaged by a stroke, can potentially cause behavioral changes (depression, paranoia, aggression). These kind of strokes are fairly uncommon.
