From the ASA: From the american stroke association: one or more of the following are present in 88% of strokes or transient ischemic attacks (tia, stroke like, lasting a short time): 1. Face weakness (ex. Unbalanced smile) 2. Arm weakness (cannot hold both arms up equally) 3. Speech difficulty, slurring hope this helps.
