Malignant ascites: Unfortunately the only way to get malignant ascites under control is to control the underlying cancer, depending on the cancer either IV and/or intraperitoneal chemotherapy. Hopefully a GI doctor will also add some information as pertains to control of cirrhosis-related ascites.
