Help plz! can schizophrenia be cured or lessened with the right nutritional vitamin supplementation?

Orthomolecular Psych: There was an interest in Canada 1960-80 and some famous names like Linus Pauling were involved here in the USA. They were serious and had some impressive successes. I actually worked for 2 yrs in NYC at the Amer Sz Assoc as an Admin Asst. But, it is true that Megavitamin/Orthomolecular Therapies are NOT recognized by the AMA or APA and you'd have to evaluate any treatment yourself if you can.

Adjunct only: Any search for a cure for schizophrenia will result in your being bitterly disappointed. Anyone offering this is deceiving you. Whether nutritional supplements, which have been around for decades, offer measurable benefit is still debated. Neglecting scientific diagnosis and treatment is asking for disaster -- just read the newspapers.
