A member asked:

Is it possible for mrsa to spread from incision to joints and to cause pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible....: What you are describing is a person who had a local infection (soft tissue) and now has septic arthritis (infected joints). I have seen this happen several times only when the initial source was not properly addressed and transient or persistent blood seeding occurs. In most instances, the pain in the joints in this picture you describe is from something else. Check with your doc.
