I was told ok to take benadryl when on Metoprolol. When I look it up though it says they both use the same enzyme. Couldn't this cause problems?
Many have said it's safe to take Metoprolol and Benadryl. I read though that both use the enzyme CYP2D6 to metabolize. Wouldn't this increase concentrations of one of the medications or both in my system?
