Possible: That you got an infection after the extraction,that in turn cause the local lymph node to appear . Get the extraction site examined by your dentist.

Pain, lymph nodes swelling and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. Your symptoms could be a serous problem. See your dentist or an oral surgeon for post-op appointment and treatment.
