Glucose in the urine: Any time someone has glucose in the urine, there is always a concern for diabetes mellitus. However, diabetes is not the only condition associated with glucosuria. If your child does have this, further testing should be considered after a complete and thorough history and physical exam is performed by your Pediatrician, including any assessment of potential weight loss, excess thirst & urination
