NO!: Erupting wisdom teeth do not cause crowding and having them removed does not cause gaps nor shifting of teeth.

No: Teeth will erupt and drift forward to compensate for the wear we don't give our teeth but that our Stone Age ancestors did. If spaces open or teeth shift it is indicative of gum/bone loss, and both a Periodontist SN can Orthodontist may have to join the treatment team. Wisdom tooth removal best done by an Oral Surgeon.
