I have access to mederma and dermovate (0.05%). which is a more effective medicine to treat scars? i am aware that the scars will not disappear.

Topical silicone: Topical silicone has the best record for diminishing the appearance of scars. Mederma and Vaseline were compared head-to0-head, and Vaseline worked better. Dermovate is a topical steriod and is used for inflammation. It should not be used long term, and is not a recommended treatment for scars.
