The e.r. said my son had blood in his urine, he doesn't have a u.t.i.?? but they didn't give a clear answer why. any suggestions??

Hematuria: Blood in urine is not normal and if not due to infection, it can be caused by inflammation of the kidneys or bladder, stones or growths in the urinary tract. A urologist or nephrologist Is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.

Blood in urine: Your child has hematuria or blood in the urine.it may be a benign condition but he should be checked out preferably by a pediatricurologist
