Heart attack: The treatment of heart attack is more nuanced as you suggest. If possible we prefer to treat as soon as possible with catheter based interventional therapy. If getting the patient into the lab for that therapy within 90min of pain onset isn't possible we consider thrombolytic therapy very seriously.
