Vaginitis : If you are still having symptoms or if they are worsening you need to see your doctor and have a culture if you have not yet done so. If you have a yeast infection then you need a different medication. Take care!

Stop cream: If you were already diagnosed through lab testing of a vaginal smear and BV was the diagnosis, then you may have had a reaction to the cream. Stop it immediately. You have not mentioned the name of the cream, so it is hard to know what you are allergic to. If the cream did not have metronidazole, then you may benefit from a course of it orally. Please contact the doctor who prescribed it.
