A member asked:

What are the potential dangers of cardiac hypokinesis or hypokinesia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Hypokinesis means abnormally low contraction and wall motion of the segment of the heart. The greater the number of left ventriculuar wall segments with hypokinesis, the worse the overall heart function is, and the greater the chance of developing heart failure and premature death.
